Plastic keyboard covers

Is a key on your keyboard sticking? Or you press one key and get two letters on the screen? Turn the keyboard upside down and shake it – you'd be surprised what may fall out. Or there may be spilt coffee, Coke or juice causing problems inside! This is why your keyboard needs a sealed flexible cover. This type of jacket hugs the keys and keeps liquids, dust and other dirt from getting inside.

The cover is fixed to the keyboard by self-adhesive tape and can be easily removed and washed. The tape remains on the keyboard, so you don't have to worry about it sticking together. A keyboard protected in this way however, is not recommended for frequent use in a clean environment, as it takes more force to push the keys. It takes 55g to press down an average keyboard key - with the cover about 70g. But a keyboard protected with this type of cover is more pleasant to work with than smooth membrane keyboards.

As the covers are custom-fitted to your keyboard, we will need to borrow your keyboard. If necessary, we can lend you a compatible keyboard while we make up and fit your cover. Our main focus is series production of covers for cash registers, but we are also able to produce one-offs for individual keyboards at a reasonable price. If keyboard skins are not for you, perhaps a better solution may be a solid removable cover. We produce four types and if you wish, we can make a silkscreen imprint of anything on the cover. For silkscreened covers, the minimum order quantity is a hundred units.
